Lady

Her Story

Lady Marcia Williams was born in the beautiful borough of Brooklyn in the state of New York, on July 20, 1955 at Kings County Hospital. Marcia was welcomed into a family that learned to live by the Word of God: which says in Joshua 24:15 "as for me and my house we will serve the Lord". At the tender age of nine she became a member of the Bibleway Church of God in Christ where she made Jesus Christ her Lord and Savior. It was during this time her work of building God's Kingdom began.

Educated in the New York City school system, she maintained a standard of excellence that served to propel her into the halls of higher learning at Queens College. Upon completion of her studies in Management, the vast world of business became a part of her life. During her twenty-six years of working in retail management at well-known stores such as Bloomingdales and R.H Macy's, she became that of outstanding manager with responsibilities that surpassed many others working parallel with her.

Due to a serious accident, which her father suffered, she was called upon to keep the church where he pastored moving to the next level. God was preparing her for so much more. The life she lived served as a springboard for her new position working for City Government; through which she was able to touch the lives of many. Marcia showed them a better way through her love for God, which is her life's blood. During her many years of serving the public, she's won the City of New York's Professionalism-Accountability-Integrity Award for two years.

In September 2002, the Lord sent Marcia to a prayer breakfast where she met a handsome distinguished gentleman by the name of Reverend Clarence E. Williams. Little did she know that God ordained this breakfast before the beginning of what we know as time. In less than a year they became husband and wife, Reverend & Mrs. Clarence E. Williams.

Today, Marcia is lovingly known as First Lady Marcia by the members of Southern Baptist Church.
